“Kelsey Wishik is a maker in many mediums–exploring this magnificent existence through art, writing, traveling, and music. Her work has been featured at the National Museum for Women in the Arts and she participates in group and solo exhibitions. When not creating, she might be found picking a stringed instrument, climbing big rocks, or hanging out with her dog, Bruce Wayne. “
“This piece was originally created for an invitational themed Art Exhibition, “Sound”, it was one of the first sculptures in a continuing series of pieces embodying forces of Energy at work in the Universe. Sound, or, vibration, is what all existence is comprised of at the fundamental level. “Seat of Sound” is meant to invite awe into this understanding by serving as a “Zoomed in” abstract musical note, or simple, “energy source”.”
