- Recycled and found steel, welded together, finished with a patina
I was inspired by the piece at the bottom of the pendulum and worked up from there. The piece gently sways if tugged, but otherwise is quite stable and secure in its grounding.
Growing up on a farm, Cindy knew the value of steel. But through exploration, she discovered that there was rare beauty in it as well. At a young age, she had a calling for taking something previously used and diminished and making it once again useful and beautiful. With time, this creativity has only increased and led her to be comfortable in every medium, whether it be cooking, design or painting, but something would always pulled her back to steel.
