The Hutchinson Sculpture Stroll brings art into the public sphere for the enjoyment of locals and visitors alike.
The Hutchinson Public Arts Commission created the Sculpture Stroll in 2013 as a way to showcase work from local, regional and national artists and to beautify public spaces. Hutchinson currently has twelve permanent sculptures, two historic murals and thirteen rotating sculptures that are leased from various artists for one year.
In addition to the rotating collection, the Sculpture Stroll offers eleven permanent sculptures. This includes the addition of three sculptures in 2020 with the gift of “Patriotic Spirit” and the city purchase of Sculpture Stroll entries “Eggspert” and “Slapshot”.
Pieces are submitted to and chosen by the Public Arts Commission Board. To submit your own artwork, please read more on the Submit Art page.
