This sweet, romantic sculpture depicts two cranes in a moment of courting. Their heads and necks sway in a slow, hypnotic fashion while their feet dance in a deliberate style.

Artist Statement
As a public sculptor of forged steel art, I create life sized indigenous wildlife sculptures. Some of my favorite subjects are turtles, herons, ravens and fish. In the last few years, I have also been incorporating the human figure into my hand forged and welded art. I have sculpted for over 40 years since completing my formal art training. I enjoy studying wildlife, capturing their natural gestures and then creating them in metal.
