$4,500

“I cultivate my sculptures like a careful farmer, invoking the forms of nature because they are my kin. Using industrial fabrication skills, I impart to them a reality beyond my limited understanding. To do this requires not only consideration but craft as well.”
“This awareness is present in something as fundamental as the material I choose. I use weathering steel because you can’t fight entropy. Instead, I seek to direct it. By using the rust that is inevitable, I create something which speaks for generations.” “Dawn is a 5′ tall fabricated Cor-ten steel sculpture representing a hand reaching skyward.”

$19,000

““Exciting”, “Engaging”, and “Fun for all” are just a few of the public comments about the artistic works created by CR Gray of Key West, Florida.”
“Pretentious, garish, and obtrusive are not words within my artist vocabulary. Whether I am working in steel, stucco, or stone, my creations come from the heart, inspired by Americana, with genuine modesty and an eye to engage all. It is my goal to make sculpture that easily appeals to most everyone, bringing a smile to your face whether eight or eighty.”

Treasure Tower

Gail Katz-James

Library Square

www.gailkatzjames.com

$6,800

“My sculptures, made of steel, wire, hardware and found objects, are rooted in textile traditions like quilting, weaving, lace making and knotless netting. I focus on the transformation of materials from their familiar context into surfaces and structures. The subject matter is abstract, and subverted to material and technique.“
“Treasure Tower” is one in my series of conical towers which explore the intersection between natural structures (trees, rocks, plants) and human built architecture. Visitors are invited to open the small doors and touch the items inside. Enjoy Treasure Tower on many levels – as an abstract linear sculpture which casts curious shadows at different times of day, as a celebration of light and color, and as an invitation to play.”

$9,000

“Craig was bitten by the metal bug in the 00s and has since done numerous sculpture and public art pieces and commissions. He works mostly with steel, but also mixes in stainless steel, brass, copper, aluminum, stone and wood into his sculptures. Craig has an affinity to color and often will use paint and vibrant patinas to create eyecatching and interesting pieces.”
“Xuberant! showcases my outlook on life. My intention every day is to live it to the fullest, to learn something new and meet new and interesting people. Doing sculpture leaves me no choice but to live exuberantly!”

Crossroads

Jon Kamrath

Luce Line/Riverside Park

www.kamrathsculpture.com

$3,500

“Crossroads explores the naturally occurring organic lines found regularly in ridged geometric designs. I find inspiration from the lake and woods surrounding my studio, as well as aerial geography and urban planning. I find it fascinating to see the way nature eventually takes over and softens the edges of every geometric design humans strive to build. Crossroads embraces this dichotomy and celebrates the visual beauty of humankind’s relationship with nature.”
“This sculpture contrasts dark, distressed steel components with bright, clean aluminum panels. The organic feel of the steel, juxtaposed with the vibrant motion ground into the aluminum creates a striking visual, constantly changing with the position of the sun.”

Seat of Sound Singularity

Kelsie Wishik

Luce Line/Masonic Park (River Song Area)

www.worksbywish.com

$6,000

“Kelsey Wishik is a maker in many mediums–exploring this magnificent existence through art, writing, traveling, and music. Her work has been featured at the National Museum for Women in the Arts and she participates in group and solo exhibitions. When not creating, she might be found picking a stringed instrument, climbing big rocks, or hanging out with her dog, Bruce Wayne. “
“This piece was originally created for an invitational themed Art Exhibition, “Sound”, it was one of the first sculptures in a continuing series of pieces embodying forces of Energy at work in the Universe. Sound, or, vibration, is what all existence is comprised of at the fundamental level. “Seat of Sound” is meant to invite awe into this understanding by serving as a “Zoomed in” abstract musical note, or simple, “energy source”.”

$3,000

“I strongly believe that art is for everybody. In my sculpture I utilize recycled materials because of their aesthetic urban properties and also with an ecological message for future generations. My hope is that my work will play a role in creating a positive future with respect for the earth, justice and dignity for everyone. “
“The horse represents the industrialization of the world and how the horse help to get there, been utilized as a way of transportation, in conquests and as slaves.”
